Employee Motivation Increases the Your Income

Employee motivation is the most important tool for increasing labor productivity, because it stimulates the growth of any company's competitiveness.

Motivation means making employees want to engage in certain activities in order to achieve the goals of the firm. There are two details you have to take into account:

  • internal stimulus - the emotions an employee experiences during the working process and at the time of the achievement of the planned result;
  • external stimulus - the wages, bonuses and awards, the career advancement, the recognition and respect of all colleagues.

The motivation system should include a set of different tools. Over time, the priority of needs changes: health, a high level of remuneration and opportunities for self-expression, safety and stability become more significant. Here are some aspects you should take into account.

1. Salary:

  • a fixed salary;
  • surcharges (for overtime work or mothers);
  • compensation for unused vacation days.

2. Bonuses for:

  • work experience;
  • general results of the department;
  • personal contribution of each employee.

3. Profit sharing

  • extends to top managers and sales specialists;
  • the amount depends on the level that these employees occupy in the hierarchy of the company.

4. Additional payments for the personnel

  • usually implies sales departments’ employees;
  • encourages employees to search for new markets and ways to maximize profits.

If you will implement these four incentives into your corporate culture, your business will benefit from the employees’ maximum capacity, intensified work processes and new customers. The personal responsibility of each employee for the result of his own results will also surely increase.

Labor motivation makes people feel more confident at their workplace, they know what they have to do and what they will gain. This system is the best way to persuade employees to work more and to do their job better.

Start implementing it in your firm right away!
