How to Turn Fear into a Business Tool?

What is fear? How do you go from fear to action? What scares you the most in business? Here, we will answer these questions and tell you at least one way you can win a major war - the war with yourself.

Fear is normal

It is the body's natural function of protecting against risks or uncertainty. Still, we often fear what we want most. You want to do something, but you are afraid. You know a potential business partner, but avoid contacting him because you are afraid. Now take the phone in your hand and call him. Make an appointment. Reach a compromise. Invest in your idea.

Ask yourself one question: Why didn't I do this earlier?

An important thing to know: you need to go where it is scary. Everything that gives you satisfaction and pleasure, in one way or another, has to do with fear and internal struggles.

Fear as a tool

Fear implies some real stress. In the old times, the famous Caesar was using a psychological trick to select the strongest and most inflexible future politicians: he put the candidates in a difficult situation, and asked them to do a task. Only those who were more active and had a positive mobilization of internal resources were elected to the political class.

The fear that passes
from the subconscious to the conscious makes you find clues, tricks and options - the consciousness is on your side, freed from the heavy handcuffs. Thus, fear can become a medicine, an instrument.

What fears haunt us in business?

1. The fear of calling a customer

Many of us are afraid of the first contact with potential customers. Trying to postpone these unpleasant and stressful situations makes entrepreneurs focus on making business cards, logos, etc. This is important, but it does not lead directly to income. We tell you a secret: nothing bad will happen if you simply take the phone and start talking.

The first 5 customers will make you feel better and fight more easily with this fear. Customers are people just like you.

2. The fear of recruitment

You're afraid to share money with someone. No one is as good as you. Nobody knows your product better. It may be true. But your time cost a lot more. Earn hours of work that you can't physically accomplish by hiring other people.

3. The fear of meeting suppliers

It's the same as with customers. Suppliers need you, because you are a potential customer for them. Overcome fear and negotiate the best possible offer.

4. The fear of the state

Many say that doing business is hard because of some crazy laws. Well, why have other entrepreneurs succeeded? Because it is all still possible!

5. The fear of losing your friends and family

Do you think you won't have time for friends and family? That you will lose them? It may be true if they don't want to support you. Well, think about what you will win and how your lifestyle will change.

Conclusion

Fear is normal. It activates you and shows you hidden paths. Overcoming fear helps you create a mechanism of action. Don't be afraid to get over it. In business, the amount of fear and stress is concentrated to the maximum, however, such elements have always been the best school of life.
