In this article we’re gonna talk less about businessmen and more about employees. But not about all employees - about the part of them that suppress their inner entrepreneur.
It's easy to say it's time for a change. Still, a number of hard-to-ignore factors keep you captive in a company you don't love and keep you from doing something you would really like, such as setting up your own business, having a hobby, or learning a new profession. Fear for your „tomorrow”, fear of change, personal complexes and the "What will the others say?" - does all this sound familiar to you?
However, many people have chosen to ignore these factors, to approach life with an entrepreneurial spirit and to direct their efforts towards their own business, which they develop with the greatest pleasure. Maybe you must also leave your current job and move from being an employee in a foreign business to being a business owner?
Do you still have doubts? Here are 14 signs that it's time to resign:
- You don't like what you do every day at work.
- You feel underestimated / depressed / bored / misunderstood.
- The working atmosphere is loaded with conflicts.
- The company's development has been stagnant for some time.
- Your development within the company is stagnant.
- You think you are capable of something greater.
- You don't believe in what you do and you only do it for the salary.
- You don't have the motivation to get out of bed and go to work.
- When seeing calls and messages related to your job, you do not feel like answering.
- You do not understand what your salary is made of and on which indicators the final amount depends.
- You don't like to interact with co-workers.
- You count the hours left until the end of the workday.
- You are looking for profitable business ideas.
- You have a hobby that you practice with great pleasure and that interests those around you.
Each person has his own talent and abilities, which they practice with pleasure. They are different from the profession learned in the university and which you force yourself to do every day.
It is difficult to excel in a field / environment that does not bring you moral satisfaction. If you do not believe in what you do - you will not put your soul into it. Obviously, you cannot be a good employee if your subconscious opposes the values that your boss promotes.
If any of the above signs are attributed to your reality, it's time to make a change. The question, in this case, is no longer: "Do you want to resign?", but "When will you resign and launch your business?".
